Within SHI there are seven permanent committees: an international committee, a work force committee, a financial committee, a family committee, an equality committee, a students' interest committee and an education committee.
A student council representative works in cooperation with four of them: a student loan representative, an equality representative who keeps an open eye out for all kinds of equality issues within the University, a family representative who is a constant reminder of the rights of student who are parents and an international affairs representative who is the contact person for all foreign students.
